I like Chipotle, and thought I was eating healthy when I went there. I recently looked at the calorie count for a burrito. Wow, I was shocked. The good news for me is that because they are so huge, I started getting the burrito bowl because it's just easier to eat with a fork. Turns out the tortilla alone has 290 calories so eliminating that helps. Also, I usually end up splitting the thing into two servings so It's not that bad. Like I said I love Chiptle, but since I've been counting calories, I realize I have to be careful about how much I eat and how I eat it.

So true. You got to know what you are putting in your mouth or you could unwittingly be breaking a law in Texas.

:) 1st, I got the tracker off google. Second, 50 grams of fat is 50 grams of fat. If you want a veggie burrito, more power to ya, as it may be the only healthy thing on the menu.

The scary part is how bad this is for you just in the most purchased form, and that people add to this chips and then a huge empty calorie filled soda.

I believe that you can have a healthier Chipotle mean, but it would be a 7 inch veggie burrito with no chips and an iced tea or water.

So, why then go to Chipotle? you can do way better at home if this is what you will be eating.

Dude, I did not give you that nutrition tracker website to lay into Chipotle! Whether or not you think they're assy is your own opinion ~ I happen to LOVE their guac and will get my healthied up burrito bol a few times a month.

AND they are far superior to most fast food restaurants because of their food with integrity program. (Seriously, I don't make this shit up, it's all over their website.) They don't buy the same craptastic meats that your McDonald's buys (circa Fast Food Nation). They heavily rely on free-range, no hormone fed meats.
