Hey Gang,

Wanted to give you all a quick update on where we are with this site.  I’m happy to say that we have an awesome woman on the case trying to help us work out our WordPress templates, etc.  You may have already noticed the nifty Archive-By-Category.  Once we get Phase One completed to make us more search-engine-friendly, we’ll be looking to add some more bells and whistles.  We’d love your feedback on what you want to see!

On the not-so-happy side, we have come to find out that GoDaddy Hosting SUCKS!  Our apologies to those of you who have gotten in touch after the site has timed out, etc.  We are in the process of lining up new hosting.  It shouldn’t change your bookmarks or anything, but stay tuned for things to get way better.

And, now for a "Bad news sandwich on HAPPY BREAD!"  I’m please to announce that our traffic is starting get up to pre-switch-to-hosted-domain numbers, so that is to say, well over 100 uniques per day.  What can you do to help?  Keep on commenting, tell friends about us, link to us from your MySpaces and other locales, add our feed to your Facebook profile (I’m trying out Blog RSS Feed Reader on mine), etc.  Once we get rid of the assy hosting , we’ll do some more to improve our SEO.

And, I’m please to see our happy little circle growing, with some new friends Autumn and Matthew joining us for fitness testing tomorrow.  Rob and I are going to do some planning tonight to make sure this is a fun and well-planned event.  Plus, who doesn’t love brisket!  (Heidi, there will also be some chicken, in case you are still on the 6-Day.)
