Wow everyone, we are getting slammed of late
Record setting day after record setting day; you guys are going to make Smurf and I think we are on the right track with this blog.
Both Smurf and I have been slacking, and we have made a commitment to each other to keep the content flowing. So, here is a bit of new content.
The last 2 weeks I have been on in a rest mode. After finishing my 3rd P90X cycle in a year, (270 days of kicking ass) I needed to give my body a bit of a break. I think if I had only done the P90X/P90X+ work outs, I would have been fine, but soccer and fighting have taken their toll. (I am still recovering from a slight shoulder injury from the Igor SAMBO Seminar)
Monday, September 15th will be a restart of a modified workout schedule. I will be blending P90X/P90X+, throwing in some cardio from the Rockin Body videos (Why not dance around my apartment like a wing nut), and then adding one more day of fighting into the mix. (Yes, there will be little or no soccer for the next 3-6 months) I need to mix it up after the last year of kicking butt, and Ski Season is right around the corner. I think my goal is, come February, shift things into high gear again, and try to get my body into the best shape ever. (That means both Diet and Training)
I know this blog is about how to be fit and still enjoy good food and good drink, but the more I push myself, the more I feel I need to fuel my body right. I have been slowing my drinking (for the most part) and my eating has become consistently healthier. (Thanks Smurf) Now what I need to do is be more regimented in my eating habits. That is the next big goal.
