Fitness for Real Life…

I tell you, the flu sucks.

So, yesterday night I get home, and I was already in a bad mood.  Whenever I start getting sick, I my tolerance becomes near non-existent.  I was ready to try to work out hard and try to beat whatever it was that was making me sick, then my plan was derailed.  I ended up at a candle light vigil being help by the “No for Prop 8″ group.  (Needless to say, not my idea)  Sure it is a good cause, but the last thing I wanted to do was leave the house.

While outside at the vigil the claws of this flu beast ripped into me.  Though out for only an hour, I could feel my body losing to whatever microbe/virus I had been exposed to.  (Whoever got me sick, a pox on you!)  So, I missed my Shoulders and Arms work out.  Joy!

Now it is Thursday, and I am just trying to recover.    Ibuprofen, water, soup, decent food and rest.  Sometime you have to give in to even the smallest of things.  (How big is a microbe or virus?  Not very)

Man I hate being sick, and I look forward to being able to work out asap!
