I shudder to think that our President-elect may never have been born if his parents weren’t allowed to marry. And, will we ever know what kind of extraordinary human being a married, same-sex couple could rear? Yes! I am extremely confident that we will get there someday. This country never ceases to amaze. Please don’t give up hope.
