Pseudo P90X Cycle 4 has begun again, ond other babble
I have to say, last month was a bear. I threw out my back for part of the month, and then spent the last week and a half fighting this damn cold that is going around. But YESTERDAY (4/6/09) I started over. And that is what staying fit is all about. We all hit hurdles, we hit injuries but we persevere. So, we get discouraged, we feel crappy, we don’t want to move. Well, get the hell over it. You have to in other areas of your life, so do the same with working out.
So, here I am again, a new 90 day training cycle. (Yep, an attainable goal!)
I will be more or less doing P90X. Instead of Plyometrics, Kenpo X and Yoga, I am substituting 3 days of SAMBO training, where on 2 of those days I add an extra hour or so of extra MMA training. (Thanks Ben!)
Sound like a lot? Well, we’ll see. As I am going to Kiev with my friend Rob Hall to train with Igor Kurinnoy. 12 days of training in the Ukraine with the worlds best. When does this happen? (Well, in May for me!)
I suspect at the end of 90 days I will be fit as a fiddle (again) and hopefully recovered from my trip abroad. (Most people head overseas to be a tourist, me, I am going to get beat up and turned into a pretzel. Strange ideas of what fun is)
Needless to say, there are no excuses to be fit. (Well, maybe a few medical ones)
You are in control of your own fitness destiny. You either decide to do something or you remain a couch potato, but I promise you will feel better if you get off your ass!
Go for a walk, stop eating junk food, and take control of your health.
If you need help, all you need to do is say so. We like to help! And it doesn’t cost anything but your time to ask a question.
